Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Audioboard.one (the "Service"), built and provided by Wave 42 ApS ("Wave 42"), a company based in Denmark (wave42.dk). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must sign up and sign in using a valid Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us at support@wave42.dk.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of the audio files and other content you upload ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you confirm that you either own the rights to it or have permission from the rights holder to upload and share it.

You grant Wave 42 a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, process, transmit, and stream your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service and providing features you choose to use (for example, playing, transcoding, and sharing with collaborators or via public links that you enable).

3. Prohibited use

Do not use Audioboard.one to upload, share, or distribute content that:

  • Infringes copyrights or other intellectual property rights
  • You do not have the legal right to share
  • Is illegal, abusive, harmful, or otherwise violates applicable law

Do not attempt to disrupt the Service or access it using methods other than the interfaces and instructions we provide. We may suspend or terminate access for violations (see Section 8).

4. Copyright and takedown requests

We respect creators’ rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content hosted on Audioboard.one infringes your rights, please email copyright@wave42.dk with:

  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed
  • The location (URL) of the allegedly infringing content
  • Your name, organization (if applicable), and contact details
  • A statement that you have a good‑faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate

We will review valid requests promptly and remove or disable access to content when appropriate.

5. Privacy

We collect and use information as described in our privacy practices. By using the Service, you consent to such collection and use. We currently use Google for authentication and may display your Google profile picture within the app when available.

6. Availability and changes to the Service

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change over time. We may suspend, change, or discontinue parts of the Service with or without notice.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wave 42 and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of Audioboard.one.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights, or abuse the platform for unauthorized distribution. We aim to act reasonably and proportionally.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
